"I am a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and a Gravity Resistance trainer.
I was introduced to yoga 15 years ago after a back injury. I began practicing yoga from DVD’s on my living room floor. I was amazed how the practice of yoga helped me heal and strengthen after my injury. Yoga also changed the way I perceived myself and the world around me. I began to move through life with much more awareness, gratitude and compassion. I had discovered a passion and I was eager to share yoga with everyone. I attended a yoga teacher training program in 2003 and have been teaching ever since. I love teaching yoga and making it accessible to everybody! My goal is always to teach with clear, concise easy to follow instruction, making every practitioner feel safe and confident.
When re:form FITNESS + YOGA merged under one roof in April of 2017, I was given the opportunity to teach Gravity Resistance Training. It has been so fun to teach movement in a more energetic way. I love how Gravity Resistance training compliments yoga. Like yoga, Gravity Resistance training targets the entire body and tones every muscle, it is approachable by all levels of ability and equally challenging for every participant, and it is a series of fluid movements with no harsh impact on the body.
